The summer program is in South Africa. The institute plans short programs all across the world, to provide students with unique opportunities to experience different political cultures while strengthening their leadership and diplomacy skills. Our programs draw a diverse group of students together from all over the world to discuss pressing global issues while exchange cultural values.

The Center of Internet Security and Forensics Education and Research (iSAFER) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) is in anticipation of a NSF grant for the REU site, HCISec, for enhancing undergraduate research in modern human computer interaction (HCI) security and privacy. The summer program each year is called a cohort.

The Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT) offers a 10-week summer research program for undergraduates in interactive virtual experiences. A multidisciplinary research institute affiliated with the University of Southern California, the ICT was established in 1999 to combine leading academic researchers in computing with the creative talents of Hollywood and the video game industry.

In 2014 the CBCF launched its China Study Abroad program to help expand learning and professional opportunities for African-American students in an era of increasing globalization. The CBCF Emerging Leaders: US-China Study Delegation is designed to provide black students with the opportunity to learn about China’s history, culture, development, and language during a two-week visit to China. We are requesting universities, colleges and STEM focused organizations to further assist us with promoting this opportunity to students!
